My sessions usually all start out the same way. We meet, we laugh, we go slow and steady as we get to know each other. This normally means snuggles in the grass or on the sand, cuddles under blankets, and lots of family time.
But little Zarli had other ideas She was keen as anything for the water, and was practically busting out of every frame to get there! I’m sure you can see by the joy on her face what happened when she did.
I love ending sessions in the water as the sun drops. Everyone is relaxed and relieved to have the ‘formal’ photos over – now we just get to have fun!
Thank you Zarli for reminding me that even though life’s not a race, sometimes a race to the water is exactly what we need.
