Gosh you guys, I had a *good* summer. The families, the locations, the weather, the outfits, everything! It honestly feels like the longest time ago, and with so much happening in 2020 up till now, it’s taken going back over some of my favourite summer sessions to be reminded of the times when things were good and simple and dare I say it – “normal”.
I mean, look at the loved up Nguyen family here. Happy, relaxed, and so in love, with faces loaded with total joy. This is the kind of family bliss I live for, and I can’t wait to return to it again soon.
I’ve always believed in the power of having photographs of your family, but it seems more significant now than ever.
Seeing the smiling faces of Kathy and Tan (and their *divine* littlies Grace and Harvey) makes me believe more and more in the importance of stopping to appreciate what you have.
Luckily for me (and all of you, I hope!), making time stand still is somewhat of a superpower of mine, and one I’d really, really love to share with you. All I need is a loved up family, a luscious location and some ripper light. And my camera, of course. You guys do the rest.
What could be better than carving out a chunk of time and dedicating it to just being present with your family? Or maybe that’s the last thing on your mind after so many months in iso, haha! Either way, all my sessions seem to be taking on a whole new meaning for me, and I hope for the families that feature in them too. I have no doubt I’ll be taking this deeper appreciation and gratitude for what I do into the next season of life, whatever that looks like!
I’m still taking bookings all the way up to March next year friends, here’s to celebrating a new season together.
