There really is nothing quite like the joy of meeting a precious new little human. All those months of baking that babe – hoping, wishing, and wondering – to finally meet someone you’ve actually known all along, and without whom you’ll never be able to imagine your life again.
It’s the closest thing to real life magic I think, and just another one of the many reasons I LOVE my newborn sessions, ESPECIALLY this gorgeous one with baby Madeleine and her wonderfully kind and talented parents Matt and Jo.
They live a slow and quiet life by the coast in Ocean Grove (yes, I travel to this side of the bay too!) in the most divine (and infinitely photographable!) home. That wallpaper in Madeleine’s nursery?! *swoon* They were a truly delightful little family and I loved photographing them in all their new baby glory.
And as we brave the chaos that is the lead up to Christmas, I can’t help but think about the most precious gift of all – time. If you’re still stuck on gifts for your loved ones this year, I want you to think about how you can give them the thing we all so often run out of.
Maybe a drawing or piece of art created by your littles, a home made gift voucher for a family dinner, or actually organising to have some favourite family photos printed and framed, or even just printed for sticking on the fridge!
I’ve still got limited summer sessions available too, so if you’d like to remember your darling fam exactly as it is right now, please do get in touch!
Happy memory making this festive season lovelies.
